Ryoko Takashina started as mangaka in 1964. After beginning with humoristic mangas in an old Tezukaish style, she continued in the "mystery" genre, being inspired by autors like Edogawa Rampo. Since then she's been doing many mangas with themes such as thriller, suspense, horror, legends, fantasy. Her major series is "Magician", other shorter series are "Devils' paradise", Murders series, "Mandragora", etc.
